I've survived Sakura-Con 2012! With about 20k in attendance, I was in awe my the sheer size of this con. I usually stick with smaller conventions with about a couple thousand at most. I was pretty overwhelmed and felt as if I was way out of my league, but I had a ton of fun. I met a lot of amazing people and was extremely flattered by what they said about my work. Quite the morale booster for me! While financially, the con was kind of a stumble for me, I learned quite a bit from this experience. I have a better idea of what to do at larger cons in comparison to smaller ones now. Displays are EXTREMELY important...and I will be spending much more time on them in the future. I figured out pretty fast that by adjusting where certain items were, they got better reception.
I tabled with the awesome

! She's very talented, sweet, and amazing.

I really had a lot of fun spending the weekend with her!
I got to meet the uber cool button lady,

! Gahhh, I really want to return to Korea and invade Comic World with her!
Met a couple of other artists, but I'm faltering at dA names.

Many apologies ahead of time if I'm slow to respond on dA. I'm busy trying to prepare for all of these cons on top of working full time. xD
